Riz Au Poulet

Ingredients:

1/2 chicken

1 big onion

Oil

Salt

Pepper

Star anis

Bay leaves

Cinnamon sticks

3 cups of rice

Instructions:

Start by cutting the onion into big pieces and frying it the a little bit of oil. Once it’s brown colored, add the chicken until it’s half fried. Then add water, salt, pepper, star anis, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks and let it boil until it’s well cooked. After that, remove 4.5 cups of chicken water, add them to the rice in another pan and cook it. Meanwhile, shred the cooked chicken. Put it on top of the cooked rice and serve it.
